It lies lengthwise along the coast with its highest point and lowest point of 290 meters and 30 meters, respectively above the sea level. It is obvious that it has a big difference in altitude which results in deep slope down toward the ocean where the hills provide a serene backdrop and that allows a panoramic view of the Island, the North Coast, and the Horizon. There are also 2 waterfalls and creeks running through the course which are invaluable beauty blessed by nature.

Santiburi Samui Country Club is now being constructed to become an 18 hole championship golf course, located along the hills on the north coast of Koh Samui Island, and overlooking a panoramic scene of the ocean and Pha Ngan Island from the Island which is designed to meet international golf course standard.
